(FRANKFORT, KY) – The Commissioner's Teachers Advisory Council (TAC) will meet on Sept. 12 at 10 a.m. ET.
The council’s purpose is to improve the educational landscape of Kentucky by providing Kentucky’s commissioner of education with direct input from Kentucky’s classrooms. Bridging the gap between policy and practice, the Teachers Advisory Council was created to advise the commissioner on educational priorities so that Kentucky’s students are well-prepared for any career they choose. The goal is to have effective teaching in every school, every classroom, every day.
The meeting will be held in Conference Room 416 at the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE). The public may view it on the KDE Media Portal.
