Reminder: Annual Attainment Task Training Requirements for AKSA Administration
Teachers administering the Alternate Kentucky Summative Assessment (AKSA) play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of the state's alternate assessment program. To uphold these standards, annual training on Attainment Tasks is mandatory for all test administrators involved in the administration of the AKSA. This training aims to equip educators with the necessary knowledge and skills to administer assessments consistently and accurately, following the latest procedures and guidelines.
Upon completion of the training and review of the administration guide, teachers must successfully pass an online qualification quiz. This quiz serves as a validation of the teacher’s understanding and readiness to administer the AKSA. The questions in the quiz are derived from both the training sessions and the administration guide, ensuring that educators are well-prepared to handle the responsibilities of test administration. Several new questions have been introduced this year, reflecting recent changes in the administration and procedural guidelines.
For questions or concerns, please contact Krista Mullins.
