(FRANKFORT, KY) – The Kentucky Department of Education's (KDE's) Health Education and Physical Education Advisory Panel working group will meet on July 26 at 9 a.m. ET.
KRS 158.6453 calls for KDE to implement a process for reviewing all academic standards and aligned assessments. The schedule calls for one or two content areas to be reviewed each year, and every six years after that on a rotating basis.
The Health Education and Physical Education Advisory Panels (APs) are composed of Kentucky elementary, middle and high school teachers, community members, and members from postsecondary education institutions.
