KyMTSS Data Inventory

New Resource

In Kentucky’s Multi-Tiered System of Supports (KyMTSS), collaborative problem-solving teams systematically analyze data across academic, behavioral and social-emotional domains to achieve improved and sustainable student outcomes. Data-based decision-making guides the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) implementation process. Data is collected, analyzed and presented in a visual format at all levels of collaborative problem-solving teams. 

The KyMTSS Data Inventory assists MTSS teams in efficiently organizing and managing various data sources. The template provides a structure to compile data sources and develop a plan for the comprehensive screening and assessment system, including a key concepts and considerations section at the end of the document. 

With the data inventory tool, teams may compile academic, behavioral and social-emotional data in one document. This resource helps develop a comprehensive overview of the data collected and analyzed within the school or district. MTSS teams may use the inventory to further develop the data-based decision-making process.

Chronic Absenteeism Infographics and Resources 

Kentucky defines chronic absenteeism as missing ten percent or more of the enrolled academic year for any reason (excused and unexcused).The resources below provide research, strategies and practical tools to help schools and districts develop effective approaches to address chronic absenteeism.
