Q: When will the 2023-2024 K Screen District Data be available?
A: The K Screen results for the 2023-2024 administration are now available. Districts may access their 2023-2024 K Screen data through the KDE secure web apps. The ZIP files will be formatted with the following protocol: SD24_###_K Screen_District Name_ 20231117. The spreadsheets are formatted in district and school breakdowns. The 2023-2024 K Screen results will be reported in the fall School Report Card of the 2023-2024 school year.
The Kindergarten Screener was administered to incoming kindergarten students and repeating kindergarten students by Oct. 16. The information from the results of the Kindergarten Screener process provides valuable insight to stakeholders to ensure growth for all students. The data contains the composite score of the Core Assessment, the Self Help and Social Emotional Skills Survey, and Prior Settings data reported in Infinite Campus (IC). Reminder: ACT Spring 2024 Junior Administration - Webinar #1 Pre-Test Activities
ACT is hosting a webinar on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2023, at 11 a.m. ET to help testing staff conduct key tasks associated with the spring 2024 Junior administration. Please ensure attendees register for the event using the link below.
Time: 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. ET
Target Audience and Content: Any staff who will be involved in the completion of key pretest activities associated with the spring Junior administration of the ACT. This content will be recorded and posted to the ACT website if staff are unable to join during the scheduled date/time.
Reminder: ACT Spring 2024 Junior Administration - Select Test Dates Deadline
For the ACT spring 2024 junior administration, ACT needs to know the testing plans for schools within districts. Schools still needing to complete this task, should sign into ACT’s PAN system and complete the Test Date Selection task by Dec. 8, 2023. Schools will make selections that will notify ACT if schools are testing or not and provide verification that the shipping address is correct. Step 1 of the ACT-hosted website contains comprehensive information about this task and includes helpful resources, such as the PAN User Guide and step-by-step training tutorials.
Please ensure testing staff involved with selecting test dates, choosing shipping dates, verifying shipping addresses, and managing testing staff user accounts are aware that this task should be completed by Dec. 8, 2023. Date Change: ACT State Testing Office Hour – Feb. 20, 2024
The ACT office hour session originally scheduled for Feb. 21, 2024 has been changed to Feb. 20, 2024 at 11 a.m. ET. The focus of this session is Non-Test Activity in My ACT. Please be sure to notify your testing staff of this date change. The link to participate remains the same and can be accessed with this Microsoft Teams Link. Attendees will not have to register for office hours specifically but will want to mark time on calendars to avoid any scheduling conflicts.

WIDA Assessment Management System (AMS) Resources in 2023-2024
Big changes came to WIDA AMS for the 2023-2024 school year. With ACCESS for ELLs testing approaching, here are some resources to help navigate the new applications and updated menus.

Online Help: This new feature provides step-by-step instructions to help complete tasks in Import Management, Student Management and Test Management. Each Online Help section contains an introduction with a side-by-side comparison of old and new terminology. Find Online Help by selecting the question mark icon in the upper right corner of the new applications or see all the topics in one place.

Knowledge Articles: If looking for more in-depth explanations to answer questions about managing users, adding accommodations, ordering test materials, or accessing reports, take advantage of DRC’s Knowledge Articles. Select DRC Customer Service > WIDA AMS Knowledge Articles from the My Applications menu to browse or search for your desired topic.
