2022-2023 Public Release of School Assessment Data – Embargo Lifted
The assessment data for 2023 are available to the public in the School Report Card (SRC). As of Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 10:00 p.m., data can be shared with education leaders and openly discussed in public meetings.
Data Review
A ten-day regulatory data review period follows public release in the KDE Applications Login. The final data review period will take place for ACCESS, Alternate ACCESS, Kentucky Summative Assessment (KSA), Alternate Kentucky Summative Assessment (AKSA), Four-Year (2023) and Five-Year (2022) Cohort Graduation Rate, Postsecondary Readiness and Postsecondary Readiness Scores in the Student Data Review and Rosters (SDRR) application between Nov. 1-13. It is now open and will close on Nov. 13 for new tickets at noon ET. Schools may request individual student changes to assessed and accountable students for ACCESS/Alternate ACCESS, KSA, AKSA, Postsecondary Readiness, reporting location for Cohort Graduation Rate, request nonparticipation, check students who met or did not meet benchmark for academic readiness for Postsecondary Readiness and mark accommodations for Individualized Education (IEP) Plan and for English Learner (EL) students during this data review period in SDRR.
Districts will be able to scan and upload Medical Nonparticipation forms in SDRR by content and not the entire test for KSA and Alternate KSA. Districts will be able to request approval for demographic changes to 2022-2023 student data such as IEP, EL, and lunch status, etc. in SDRR which will be approved by OAA provided Infinite Campus (IC) also reflects the information. If a student had an accommodation during testing for the assessments that is not reflected in SDRR, then districts will be able to mark that as a “Yes” or “No” under the accommodations column even if there is a “Yes” or “No” in the IEP column.
The Roster Clean-up nonparticipation addresses situations where the student appears on the student listing in error. Districts will need to explain why the student was not deleted from the spring roster or why the student appears on the student listing in error in the text box when the nonparticipation is selected. OAA will approve Roster Clean-up tickets, provided Infinite Campus (IC) also reflects the information.
The Office of Assessment and Accountability (OAA) will audit the demographic changes that are made in SDRR to ensure accuracy in reporting; the change must appear in IC. Otherwise, the ticket will be denied. Moreover, any demographic changes should match the demographic information in IC as of the first day of the 14-day spring summative testing window for the district. Users will find up to date information, as well as links to resources for assistance in the Announcements box on the home page of SDRR (including the 100-Day Tool and Cohort Tool), and in the Help button at the top right of every page within the web application. Also, users may want to utilize some of the IC Reports to Assist in Data Quality.
This data review period is the final opportunity for school and district staff to request changes to individual student information.
