QUALITY CONTROL (QC) DAY DATA NOW CLOSED
Thank you for being part of the Quality Control (QC) Day. The Office of Assessment and Accountability (OAA) hopes this QC Day process has been a positive experience. Due to your work today, we were able to improve our data for the School Report Card (SRC) in preparation for public release.
The Quality Control Day worked to identify a couple minor issues that could impact some schools. OAA is still researching some discrepancy reports, but currently no major issues have been identified. These minor issues will be corrected prior to the public release.
The tentative timeline for public release of data in the SRC is:
-
Oct. 30 – 8:00 a.m. ET Release to districts under embargo (districts may discuss results internally, but not in public meetings).
-
Oct. 30 – 12:00 p.m. (noon) ET Release to working media under embargo (districts may discuss results with media, but not in public meetings).
-
Oct. 31 – 10:00 p.m. ET Public release of the SRC.
Additional public release resources will be shared with District Assessment Coordinators in an upcoming DAC Monday Email.
The next opportunity District Assessment Coordinators (DACs) will have to request changes to student level data will be after public release. School and district staff will be able to request individual student changes in the Student Data Review and Rosters (SDRR) application for 10 days after the public release of the SRC.
-
Nov. 1 through Nov. 13 – 10-day regulatory data review after public release of the SRC.
Thank you again for the critical review of your school and district data today!
