(FRANKFORT, KY) – The Kentucky Department of Education’s (KDE’s) Visual and Performing Arts Middle and Elementary School Advisory Panel (AP) meetings, originally scheduled for July 18 and 19, 2023, have been postponed.
KRS 158.6453 calls for the Kentucky Department of Education to implement a process for reviewing all academic standards and aligned assessments beginning in the 2017-2018 school year. The schedule calls for one or two content areas to be reviewed each year and every six years after that on a rotating basis.
The Middle and Elementary School AP are composed of elementary and middle school teachers from across the state.
The KDE will work with AP members to reschedule the meetings at a future date.
