(FRANKFORT, KY) - The Visual and Performing Arts Elementary School and Middle School Advisory Panel (AP) will meet in-person at 300 Sower in Frankfort at 9 a.m. ET on July 19, 2023.
KRS 158.6453 calls for the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) to implement a process for reviewing all academic standards and aligned assessments beginning in the 2017-2018 school year. The schedule calls for one or two content areas to be reviewed each year and every six years after that on a rotating basis.
The Visual and Performing Arts standards revision Elementary School AP and Middle School AP includes teachers, members from postsecondary education and business and community members.
The meeting will be held in-person at the Kentucky Department of Education. The public can view this meeting live at KDE, 300 Sower Blvd., Frankfort, KY 40601.
