Question of the Week
Q: What is the deadline to answer state use question in PAN approaching for ACT Spring 2023 Junior Administration?
A: With the ACT spring administration now complete, KDE and ACT want to ensure testing staff are aware of and are in compliance with the KDE Parental Consent Policy. This policy requires school staff to answer a State Use Question (SUQ) in PearsonAccessNext for examinees under the age of 18 who did not obtain parental consent to opt into EOS and/or select score recipients during the non-test activity. Testing staff is encouraged to review the information outlined within the Administration Supplement to gather instructions for answering the SUQ. This task must be completed by Friday, May 12. The parental consent policy is only applicable to examinees who were under the age of 18 at the time of testing and who did not obtain parental consent to opt into ACT’s EOS system and/or select score recipients during the non-test activity.
