What:
Nearly 20,000 students, educators, volunteers, community members and parents are expected to converge in Lexington for Kentucky’s annual Student Technology Leadership Program (STLP) State Championship.
More than 13,000 P-12 students from across the state will show what they know and can do with technology in arts, STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and demonstrate many career-ready skills through true project-based learning examples by participating in nearly 50 different STLP competition areas.
STLP students demonstrate vibrant learning experiences by creating projects, products or services as part of the program and demonstrate their learning by competing in various technology-rich events, including instructional, technical or community development projects; digital content creation such as digital art, photography, design, programming, app development and robotics; and technical services, like student help desk, network engineering and wireless applications.

Wednesday, April 19, 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. ET
Where:
The event will be held at Rupp Arena's Central Bank Exhibit Hall, 420 West Vine St., Lexington.
Upon arrival, all media must check in at the Welcome Desk with event staff.
The STLP Award Show will be broadcast live at 4 p.m. ET on KET’s Kentucky Channel, as well as through KET Live.
