High school student members of the Commissioner’s Student Advisory Council will present “A Focus on School Safety,” a list of nine student-driven recommendations to education stakeholders to improve school safety. The presentation is part of a project that began at the council’s May 31, 2022, following the school shooting in Uvalde, Texas.
When:
Approximately 11:30 a.m. ET on Tuesday, Jan. 24. The presentation will take place during the council’s regular monthly meeting that begins at 9 a.m. ET. We suggest media arrive for setup no later than 11 a.m. ET.
