Q: Is a recorded training available to support the 2022 Kentucky Summative Assessment released items data files?
A: Yes. Pearson has recorded a video to support understanding of the released items and associated data files.
In compliance with KRS 158.6453, performance data by student, school (and district) were provided to District Assessment Coordinators (DACs) through a secure file transfer on January 17. Statistical information for released items by state has been shared on the Kentucky Portal beginning in November 2022.
These KSA data provide evidence of student learning that helps to inform decision-making related to teaching and learning. Along with other data at the school level, these data can provide insight into student outcomes and provide a clearer picture of school performance.
Pearson Senior Program Manager Scott Wilson will be available during each February DAC Training Q&A session to answer questions on this topic at the end of the agenda.
Before and after those sessions, DACs may contact the Pearson Support Desk at (888) 437-1430 (Hours: 6am - 7:30pm CT) or email candi.gesling@pearson.com
