Question of the Week
Q: Have new items been released for spring 2022 KSA? A: Yes! Kentucky Summative Assessment (KSA) released items for Science, grades 4, 7 and 11 and On-Demand Writing, grades 5, 8, and 11 are now available at KY | Released Items (mypearsonsupport.com).
The Kentucky released items are delivered as a package which consists of information posted on the Kentucky Portal and information provided directly to the schools and districts. For each grade and content, a sample set of items are released along with the statistics for each item. On all the associated documentation for each item there will be a Unique Identification Number (UIN). This number can be used to link the information from all resources together.
Additional assessment items for all content areas including detailed scoring results will be released on the KY Portal in the upcoming weeks. DACs will be informed as items are released in Monday DAC emails.
ACT Spring 2023 Junior Administration Test Accessibility and Accommodations (TAA) System Performance Update
ACT and OAA are aware of the performance issues with the TAA System, which is used to request ACT-authorized accommodations and support. ACT deployed a technology fix designed to resolve those performance issues over the weekend, due to the persistence of performance issues. As of this afternoon, testing staff is still experiencing system issues. Due to the ongoing system issue, ACT will likely extend the accommodations request deadline. As soon as the issue is resolved, OAA and ACT will communicate with testing staff as soon the system issue is resolved. If you have any concerns or questions, please contact Shara Savage.
