(FRANKFORT, KY) –The Kentucky Department of Education's (KDE's) Social Studies Review Committee to meet Aug. 9 at 2 p.m. ET.
To meet the requirements of Section 4(3)(a) of Senate Bill 1 (2022), the Kentucky Department of Education is reconvening the Social Studies Standards Advisory Panel and Review Committee to revise the Kentucky Academic Standards for Social Studies (704 KAR 8:060).
The Social Studies Review Committee is composed of Kentucky elementary, middle and high school teachers, community members and members from postsecondary education institutions.
