Proactively Starting The School Year
August is here and we know how many people rely on school counselors to be experts in a variety of areas and initiatives.
Over the summer, many of you started rebuilding your comprehensive programs in hopes to be more proactive for yourself as a counselor, your program and all stakeholders you collaborate with. Remember to take it slow! It is a marathon and ensuring quality above quantity will ensure you are doing what is best for students.
The American School Counselor Association (ASCA) has several back to school resources available on its website.
