(FRANKFORT, KY) – The Visual and Performing Arts Middle School Advisory Panel (AP) will meet virtually at 9 a.m. ET on July 20, 2022.
KRS 158.6453 calls for the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) to implement a process for reviewing all academic standards and aligned assessments beginning in the 2017-2018 school year. The schedule calls for one or two content areas to be reviewed each year and every six years after that on a rotating basis.
The Visual and Performing Arts Middle School AP consists of five public school educators who teach the content standards being reviewed along with one representative from an institution of higher education and one business or community shareholder.
The meeting will be held via video teleconference. Members of the public may watch by joining the available Zoom link.
