Question of the Week
Q: When is the deadline for entering Graduation Codes (G-Codes) into Infinite Campus (IC) for the 2021-2022 school year?
A: The end of the school year is a very busy time and there are many actions to take to complete the year. As a reminder, the G-Codes are due soon. Rodney Bennett, with the Division of District Services, monitors G-code entry and the Office of Assessment and Accountability (OAA) will use that data for Graduation Rate reporting this fall in the School Report Card. The deadline for G-codes to be entered in IC is June 30. The G-code end status and graduation tab must be complete in IC for all summer school graduates by July 31. OAA will run and provide to districts initial graduation rates based on final year G-codes from June 30. OAA will monitor for any data quality issues and follow-up with DACs in July and calculate final graduation rates in early August based on any changes from summer graduates.

ACT State Spring 2022 Testing Data and Report Availability
The final data and reports from the spring 2022 ACT administration will be available on June 24, 2022. These data are not embargoed. ACT and KDE want to ensure school and district testing staff have access to data and reports from this spring administration. ACT will email school and district testing staff when the final student-level data files, aggregate reports, and any non-college reportable score notification letters are available. These data and reports will be available in PearsonAccessNext (PAN). Additionally, school and district staff who have access to ACT’s online reporting system, which is housed on the ACT Success Site, can obtain data as scores are released into that system. Please complete the ACT Contact Webform if you have questions or need additional information about accessing data within the online reporting system. For general ACT questions or access to PAN, please contact Shara Savage.
School Reconfiguration Changes for 2022-2023 School Year
The Office of Assessment and Accountability (OAA) asks that District Assessment Coordinators (DACs) submit information on A1 schools with service area changes for the 2022-2023 school year by June 30. Changes to school service area (reconfiguration) requests need to be made if any of the following situations apply:
- the grade range in an A1 school changes
- a new A1 school is opened
- an A1 school is closed
- an A1 school boundary changes
- a shift in student population of more than 40% occurs
The School Reconfiguration Spreadsheet, School Reconfiguration Spreadsheet instructions and School Reconfiguration Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) can be found on the Forms page located on the Assessment and Accountability section of the KDE website.
In addition, changes must be submitted through the District and School Collection Repository (DASCR) application. Please see the DASCR User Guide, if unfamiliar with this web application. The district Web Apps Admin Point of Contact (WAAPOC) handles access. WAAPOCs may contact the KETS Service Desk with questions/issues with DASCR at (866) 538-7435.
