Fall 2022 ACT Senior Retake Testing Dates
ACT and OAA have set the Fall 2022 ACT Senior Retake State Administration dates. The Fall Senior Retake Administration for Seniors is optional for all Kentucky public-school seniors. Each school may use Window 1 and/or Window 2 for testing. Schools have two options,
Option 1: Test in Windows 1 and 2. Both windows can be utilized by selecting Test Window 1 as the initial and Window 2 as makeup.
Option 2: Test in Window 2. If schools choose to test in Test Window 2, the initial testing and makeup testing will need to occur during the timeframe. No additional dates will be available except for a statewide emergency.
As a reminder, all testing this fall will be online. Paper test books will be available for students who require accommodations that cannot be offered via the online delivery mode.

Kentucky Educational Collaborative for State Agency Children (KECSAC) Data Records
In order for a student to be counted as state agency for SDRR and accountability, the KECSAC records must match the enrollment start and end dates in the state agency facility (A6 program). When a student enrolls into a state agency facility, a KECSAC record should be created with a start date that matches the students enrollment start date. If a student withdraws from the facility, the active KECSAC record should be end dated to match the enrollment withdrawal date. IF a student returns to a facility, a new KECSAC record should be created with a start date matching the new enrollment date. ALL state agency enrollment start and end dates must match the KECSAC record start and end dates.
There are occurrences when a student will be enrolled in an A1 or A5 school and the student is placed in state agency care but remains enrolled in the A1 or A5 school (district operated programs). In these cases, the KECSAC start date would be the date the student was placed under the care of a state agency and the end date would be the date the student was removed from state agency care or has a gap in enrollment in which case it would match the end date of the last enrollment prior to the gap. A new KECSAC record would be created for the enrollment after the gap.

Districts can utilize the KECSAC Membership report within Infinite Campus to review state agency children records to ensure indication of state agency in SDRR. The report is located via KY State Reporting | KDE Reports. The report can be ran for the entire school year and will extract data into Excel for review of data. The KECSAC Start and End Dates and Enrollment Start and End Dates are output in the report and will allow user to review to ensure the dates are matching. Facilities should work to ensure the dates match to avoid any lack of indication in SDRR reviews.
Questions regarding KECSAC student records and the KECSAC Membership report can be directed to Windy Newton.
