Question of the Week
Q: When are the Certification of Proper Test Administration Forms due?
A: The DAC (District Assessment Coordinator) and BAC (Building Assessment Coordinator) certification of Proper Test Administration forms require that DACs and BACs certify their responsibilities were met on that test administration. Certification of Proper Test Administration Forms are due within two weeks following the close of the test window. DAC certification Forms must be submitted to the Office of Assessment and Accountability using this Google Form. Reminder: WIDA Speaking and Writing Rubrics Survey
The WIDA Writing Rubric Grades 1-12 and WIDA Speaking Rubric Grades 1-12 serve as a reference for understanding the scores students earn on ACCESS for ELLs, and help educators analyze student performance in the classroom and plan ways to scaffold language learning.
WIDA wishes to better understand how and to what extent educators in the consortium use these rubrics. WIDA invites school and district educators to complete a five-minute survey to help ensure that ACCESS for ELLs ancillary documentation is user friendly, practical, and does not duplicate information educators may prefer to access in other resources. Please submit the educator thoughts by Tuesday, May 31 at 11:59 p.m. CT. WIDA appreciates the participation and values the feedback!
