Q: Will the Office of Assessment and Accountability (OAA) release additional resources for the spring 2022 assessments?

KSA District Test Window Collection Reminder
School and District level users will see the spring summative testing window dates in the Student Data Review and Rosters (SDRR) application. SDRR will open on March 15 at 9 a.m. ET. District Assessment Coordinators (DACs) need to enter the date of the first day of Kentucky Summative Assessment (KSA) testing for elementary, middle and high schools in the district.
There can only be one date for each level. School level users can view the test window dates provided by the DAC, but they cannot change the information. Only District level users can make changes to these dates. SDRR will close on March 31 at 5 p.m. ET for District Test Window Collection for KSA.
ACT State Testing Window 2 Opening Soon – Updates and Reminders
While the Initial Test Window 1 is still open this week, OAA and ACT want to remind testing staff of crucial information pertaining to the upcoming Makeup Test Window 2. Materials requested for Window 2, which concluded on Friday, March 11, will arrive in schools this week. After materials are delivered, testing staff should inventory the box(es) received within 24-48 hours of receipt to verify that the materials listed on the packing list were included in the shipment. If there are any material discrepancies, contact ACT customer care immediately at 319-337-1577. Additionally, the window in which online test sessions can be created for window 2 will open on Wednesday, March 16. Additional resources for creating online test sessions and adding students to those sessions can be found within Step 4 of your ACT-hosted website. Finally, the window where testing staff can precache online test content for window 2 will open on Friday, March 18. If you need additional information, please contact Shara Savage.
ACT State Testing Office Hour March 17
OAA and ACT will be hosting an office hour session this Thursday, March 17, at 11 a.m. EST, focusing on test window 2 preparedness. Although the test window 2 preparedness, all questions related to the ACT state administration are welcome. The session will be hosted via a Microsoft Teams meeting. While the content will be focused on this policy, KDE and ACT encourage testing staff to attend and ask any questions they may have at this time. Please be sure to provide testing staff with this March 17 Teams Meeting Link for this week's session. If you need additional information, please contact Shara Savage.
KAAC Nominations for DAC and BAC of the Year (Corrected Link)
The Kentucky Association for Assessment Coordinators (KAAC) is now accepting nominations for the annual Building Assessment Coordinator (BAC) and District Assessment Coordinator (DAC) of the year awards. To submit a nomination, please complete the appropriate nomination form at the link below by the close of business on July 20, 2022. Winners will be recognized at the annual Scott Trimble workshop in October.

KAAC Scott Trimble Workshop Call for Proposals is Now Open
The 2022 Call for Proposals is now OPEN for this fall’s Scott Trimble Workshop. The deadline to submit proposals is Tuesday, May 31, 2022. The 2022 Scott Trimble Workshop will be held in Louisville, Kentucky at the Crowne Plaza Louisville Hotel on October 27-28, 2022. The theme for our 2022 conference is "We Will Rise." Reminders: CTE Assessments Testing Windows Close March 31
CTE EOP Assessment
The Career and Technical (CTE) End-of-Program (EOP) Assessment associated with statewide articulated credit testing window closes March 31. All CTE EOP Assessment testing must be completed by March 31. CTE EOP Assessment results and certificates are scheduled to be released April 16. More details are forthcoming to assessment coordinators. Skilled Trades TRACK Assessments
The initial testing window for Skilled Trades, Tech Ready Apprentices for Careers in Kentucky (TRACK) (Carpentry, Electrical) Assessment, a component of an industry certification, closes March 31. A TRACK retest option is available for TRACK (Carpentry, Electrical) Assessments April 18-29. More details are forthcoming to assessment coordinators.

K Screen Training of Trainers Refresh Webcast this Friday
The Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) will be hosting the Training of Trainers Refresh Webcast at 1 p.m. ET on March 18. This training is for experienced district K Screen trainers who have previously attended the full “Training of Trainers” session and need to refresh their training for the upcoming school year. If experienced trainers plan on attending, they can access the K Screen Refresh Training Event as a live event in Microsoft Teams.
K Screen Ordering Window is open
Starting March 14, Curriculum Associates is accepting orders for the 2022-2023 school year. The ordering window will be open until April 1.
To place district orders for the 2022-2023 school year, visit the Common Kindergarten Entry Screener website, click on the 2022-2023 K Screen Google Form under Ordering Information. Enter the required information into the Google Form before downloading the order form, click to enable editing and save the file after replacing “Curriculum Associates” with the district name. For example, the file name would change from Curriculum Associates KY BRIGANCE Form 2022 to Franklin Co KY BRIGANCE Form 2022.
Once all information is entered into the three tabs, save the spreadsheet and upload it into the Google Form. A confirmation email will be sent after the submission has been received.

WIDA Secure Portal Enhancement: Non-Disclosure and User Agreement (NDUA)
At user request, WIDA has made updates to the electronic Non-Disclosure and User Agreement (NDUA) in the WIDA Secure Portal. The user’s name now appears at the bottom of the document, along with the date the NDUA was agreed to and the date on which the user will be asked to review and agree next. Additionally, when this screen is printed, the document will now print on one page with a WIDA header and footer. Please note that these updates only apply when the user is printing the electronically signed copy displayed on the screen. The Download PDF Form button will still allow the user to download a blank copy of the NDUA to print and sign if necessary.
