End-of-Course (EOC) Score Reports Released Early
District summary data and individual student score reports for Early Graduate EOCs received for Test Window 1 are now available in the Secure Web Application in the Student Data Detail.
The district summary data file is named “SD22_xxx_DistrictNameDistrict_TW1”.
The individual student score report data file is named “SD22_xxx_DistrictNameISR_TW1”.
Please check students’ reports for correct name spelling, SSIDs and other demographic information. The demographic information is populated in the reports precisely as students enter the electronic answer documents. Therefore, it is essential to review district summary data and individual student score reports for correctness. Contact Shara Savage by email or at 502-564-4394 by phone with any corrections or questions. Please complete this review by Friday, Jan. 21.
Students who have an approved Early Graduation Intent Form and are flagged in Infinite Campus (IC) may appeal to retake the EOC exam once in some circumstances. Districts may determine that an extraordinary circumstance prohibited an otherwise exceptional student from obtaining benchmarks. The student may appeal to retake the EOC exam based on extenuating circumstances. The DAC should keep the documentation for the retake on file as OAA may ask to review it. Please see Retake Policy from the Early Graduation EOC Exam Guidance Document.
ACT State Testing Verify Enrollment Deadline
Student records have been uploaded into the ACT PearsonAccessnext (PAN), and school testing staff are tasked with verifying that the list of examinees associated with their organization is complete and accurate. The deadline to complete this task is Jan. 21. Additionally, all records have been loaded with an online testing format. Verifying enrollment counts and the accuracy of student test mode helps ensure schools receive the appropriate quantities and types of test materials for testing. Failure to complete this task could mean inaccurate materials shipments and missing bar code labels. Additional resources can be found on the ACT State testing webpage in the Configuration section.
ACT State Testing Office Hour Jan. 20
OAA and ACT will be hosting an office hour session this Thursday, Jan. 20, at 11 a.m. EST, focusing on the Online Site Readiness Task. Although the focus will be on the Online Site Readiness Task, all questions related to the ACT state administration are welcome. The session will be hosted via a Microsoft Teams meeting. While the content will be focused on this policy, KDE and ACT encourage testing staff to attend and ask any questions they may have at this time. Please be sure to provide testing staff with this Jan. 20 Teams Meeting Link for this week's session.
ACT Hosted Test Administration Webinar Available
The first of two ACT-hosted Test Administration webinars was held on Tuesday, Jan. 5. This session, which provided content focused on pretest activities, was recorded and posted to the ACT State testing webpage. Even if testing staff were unable to join the live session, a recording of the content is available with the ability to submit questions to ACT, who will follow up via email. The second Test Administration webinar, which will provide content focused on test day and post-test activities, will be held on Feb. 2. Please be sure to register for the Feb.2 Test Administration Webinar Part #2.
ACT Qualified Exceptions to the Deadline Window Open
The Qualified Exceptions to the Deadline (QED) window opened on Monday, Jan. 17. The QED is for newly diagnosed or newly enrolled students. Please be sure to review the QED form to determine if the school/district has examinee(s) who are eligible to request accommodations and/or supports during this window. The QED window is not an opportunity to submit or resubmit initial requests for accommodations and/or supports. For more information, please contact Shara Savage.
ACT Conduct Online Site Readiness Activities
With the shift to a more online-focused administration this spring, KDE and ACT strongly encourage schools to conduct the appropriate pretest activities to verify that the local network and devices can be configured to administer the ACT online this spring successfully. ACT and KDE recommend schools conduct these activities now to ensure schools have an opportunity to pivot to a paper-based delivery if it is determined that the online test mode cannot be supported. Please visit step 2 of the ACT hosted website to find additional information and training tutorials to conduct site readiness activities.
