(FRANKFORT, KY) – The Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) Elementary School Science Advisory Panel will meet at 9 a.m. on Oct. 21
KRS 158.6453 calls for the KDE to implement a process for reviewing all academic standards and aligned assessments beginning in the 2017-2018 school year. The schedule calls for one or two content areas to be reviewed each year and every six years after that on a rotating basis.
The Elementary School Science Advisory Panel is composed of 10 members, including teachers from across the state.
The meeting will be held via video teleconference. Members of the public may watch the meeting in Conference Room 416 at KDE, 300 Sower Blvd., Frankfort, KY 40601.
Visitors will be required to wear a face covering or they will not be permitted in the building. If a visitor does not have a face covering upon arrival, a face covering will be provided.
