(FRANKFORT, KY) – The Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) High School Science Advisory Panel will meet virtually on Oct. 15 at 9 a.m. ET.
KRS 158.6453 calls for KDE to implement a process for reviewing all academic standards and aligned assessments beginning in the 2017-2018 school year. The schedule calls for one or two content areas to be reviewed each year, and every six years after that on a rotating basis.
The KDE High School Science Advisory Panel is composed of 10 members, including teachers from across the state.
Members of the public may watch the meeting virtually, or watch the livestream in Room 417 at KDE, 300 Sower Blvd., Frankfort, KY 40601.
Visitors will be required to wear a face covering or they will not be permitted in the building. If a visitor does not have a face covering upon arrival, a face covering will be provided.
