2020-2021 Public Release of School Assessment Data – Embargo Lifted
The final assessment data for 2021 is available to the public in the School Report Card (SRC). Data can be shared with education leaders and openly discussed in public meetings.
Data Review
A ten-day regulatory data review period follows public release in the Student Data Review and Rosters (SDRR) application, which is accessible via the KDE Applications Login.
-
The final data review period will take place for ACCESS, Alternate ACCESS, K-PREP, Alternate K-PREP, Four-Year (2021) and Five-Year (2020) Cohort Graduation Rate in SDRR.
-
SDRR will open at 9 a.m. ET and will close on Friday, Oct. 8 for new tickets at noon ET.
-
Schools may request individual student changes to assessed students for ACCESS/Alternate ACCESS, reporting location for Cohort Graduation Rate, request nonparticipation, mark accommodations for Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and for English Learner (EL) students during this data review period in SDRR.
-
Districts will be able to scan and upload Medical Nonparticipation forms in SDRR by content and not the entire test for K-PREP and Alternate K-PREP. Districts will be able to request approval for demographic changes to 2020-2021 student data such as IEP, EL, and lunch status, etc. in SDRR which will be approved by OAA provided Infinite Campus (IC) also reflects the information. If a student had an accommodation during testing for the ACCESS or Alternate ACCESS that is not reflected in SDRR, then districts will be able to mark that as a “Yes” or “No” under the accommodations column even if there is a “Yes” or “No” in the IEP column.
The Office of Assessment and Accountability (OAA) will audit the demographic changes that are made in SDRR to ensure accuracy in reporting; the change must appear in IC. Otherwise, the ticket will be denied. Moreover, any demographic changes should match the demographic information in IC as of the first day of the 14-day spring summative testing window. Users will find up to date information, as well as, links to resources for assistance in the Announcements box on the home page of SDRR (including the Cohort Tool), and in the Help button at the top right of every page within the web application. Also, users may want to utilize some of the IC Reports to Assist in Data Quality.
This data review period is the final opportunity for school and district staff to request changes to individual student information.
If districts are unable to access the Applications Login, check with the Web Apps Admin Point of Contact (WAAPOC) who may reach out to the KDE Help Desk for assistance. The KDE Help Desk can be reached at (502) 564-2002.
