(FRANKFORT, KY) – The Kentucky Department of Education's (KDE's) Testing Board of Review will meet virtually on July 21 at 1:30 p.m. ET.
The Testing Board of Review (TBR) and the commissioner of education work together to ensure the integrity of all state-required assessments is maintained. 703 KAR 5:080 charges the Testing Board of Review with providing a recommendation to the commissioner of education regarding testing allegations reported to the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE).
The commissioner of education appoints the board members to represent various divisions within KDE. To maintain the independence of the board, members do not include people whose job duties consist of either investigating testing allegations or those who work in the assessment and accountability area of KDE. Each board member receives Administration Code Training.
This meeting will be held via video teleconferencing. Members of the public may watch the meeting in room 516 at the Kentucky Department of Education, 300 Sower Blvd., Frankfort, KY 40601.
