'Leading for High-Quality Formative Assessment' Module Now Available
This module supports school and district leaders in understanding the formative assessment process and the culture necessary for high-quality formative assessment to improve student outcomes. The module also takes a closer look at how leaders can empower teachers and foster student ownership of learning within the formative assessment process.
The "Leading for High-Quality Formative Assessment” module is available on the Leadership Trainings webpage. The module consists of a PowerPoint and facilitator’s guide, as well as an overview video to provide orientation to all the components.
New Roles in People Manager: High-Quality Instructional Resource Coordinator and MTSS Coordinator
To better communicate guidance and resources to districts, the High-Quality Instructional Resource Coordinator and MTSS Coordinator positions have been created and are available in Open House. It is imperative that districts identify an individual to serve in these roles.
Please work with your local web application administrator point of contact (WAAPOC) to set the appropriate contacts through the Web Security Administrator (WSA) application (sometimes called People Manager). To make changes, log into the Web Application tool, and then select the Web Security Administrator–WSA (or People Manager) link. You can find district WAAPOCs listed in the Open House School and District directory.
Please note: Changes to access (group membership) made in WSA will update Open House immediately, which allows you to double check the appropriate contacts and email addresses.
