Commissioner's Parents Advisory Council to meet virtually June 9

(FRANKFORT, KY) – The Kentucky Department of Education's (KDE) Commissioner's Parents Advisory Council (PAC) will meet virtually on June 9 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. ET.

The PAC provides advice and counsel to Kentucky's commissioner of education on topics of interest to parents, such as ways parents and communities can assist schools in ensuring the achievement level is raised for every student.

Pursuant to Executive Order 2020-243 and a memorandum issued by the Finance and Administration Cabinet dated March 16, 2020, and in an effort to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the Parents Advisory Council will meet via video teleconference. Members of the public will not be permitted to attend the meeting in person, but are encouraged to view the meeting on the Kentucky Department of Education's Media Portal.
