‘Creating Text-Dependent Questions to Support Implementation of the KAS for Reading and Writing’ Webcast to Release Tomorrow
As we explore the new professional learning module, "Understand Text Dependent Questions," this webcast will demonstrate how to create text-dependent questions that are aligned to the Kentucky Academic Standards (KAS) for Reading and Writing.
An archive of the webcast and slides will be emailed and made available on the Standards Webcast webpage March 19.
‘Creating Standards Aligned Text-Dependent Writing Tasks’ Digital Professional Learning Opportunity to Release March 26
This professional learning opportunity is designed for professional learning communities (PLCs) to engage in crafting text-dependent writing tasks. Learning will build upon knowledge from the "Understand Text Dependent Questions" module featured in the March 19 webcast.
PLCs will be able to work at their own pace through this learning experience and will create a writing task based on a text set. EILA credit is available for those who complete the opportunity.
The digital professional learning opportunity will be released through the Standards Newsletter and will be made available on the Reading & Writing Professional Learning Modules webpage.
