(FRANKFORT, KY) – The World Language Advisory Panel (AP) will meet 9 a.m.-4 p.m. ET Jan. 16 at the Kentucky Department of Education, 300 Sower Blvd., Room 516, in Frankfort.
Senate Bill 1 (2017) calls for the Kentucky Department of Education to implement a process for reviewing all academic standards and aligned assessments. The schedule calls for one or two content areas to be reviewed each year and every six years after that on a rotating basis.
The World Language AP is comprised of nine members, including elementary, middle and high school teachers from across the state.
