Kentucky Board of Education to meet Oct. 2 and 3 in Laurel County

(FRANKFORT, KY) –The Kentucky Board of Education (KBE) will meet for its regularly scheduled October board meeting next week. The meeting will begin at 2 p.m. ET Oct. 2 at the Laurel County Board of Education, 710 North Main Street, in London. The meeting will continue at 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 3.  

The meetings will be webcast live on KDE's Media Portal.

The Oct. 2 session will include a meeting of the Operations Management Committee, during which the group will review the annual performance evaluation of the commissioner. The Oct. 3 session will include a discussion of the board's 2020 legislative agenda and the 2020-2022 Biennial Budget Request.
