(FRANKFORT, KY) – On Sept. 27, members of the media will be provided with embargoed access to the 2018-2019 K-PREP assessment data and to the new online Kentucky School Report Card. The embargo will begin at 10 a.m. ET.
A media briefing will be held 1 p.m. ET Sept. 30 in the State Board Room (Room 514) at the Kentucky Department of Education, 300 Sower Blvd., Frankfort. During the briefing, Kentucky Department of Education Commissioner Wayne Lewis will discuss the results and answer questions. Comments made during the briefing will be subject to the embargo period as well.
Members of the media may attend in person or watch online (a Skype link to the briefing will be shared with the working media Monday morning). Questions during the briefing may be submitted online at app.gosoapbox.com using the access code 2019accountability.
The embargo period will end at midnight on Oct. 1. The new 5-star accountability system will be live at kyschoolreportcard.com the morning of Oct. 1.
