New Resources Available for Revised Minimum Graduation Requirements

On April 5, Kentucky's new minimum high school graduation requirements (704 KAR 3:305) became law. The changes add "graduation prerequisites" and "graduation qualifiers" to ensure students have basic math and reading skills, as well as experiences that can help them be prepared to enter college or the workforce.

Several tools are available on the Minimum High Graduation Requirements webpage, including a FAQ and several charts to help people understand the new changes and how they impact other important elements of Kentucky education.

Keep in mind, these are the minimum standards so additional requirements may vary by district.
