A portion of East Seventh Street will be closed for five days beginning April 10 for utility work for the new Newton Public Library.
A small section of East Seventh will be closed just west of North Pine Street. Seventh Street access to Cooper Early Education Center will remain open. Traffic will be detoured south to Broadway.
The street is expected to reopen April 14, weather permitting. Dondlinger Construction is the prime contractor.
