Employee Assistance Program (EAP) has resources to help with life issues.

• The EAP offers a wide range of services at no cost to employees and members of their household, including: work guidance support, lifestyle questions/issues, financial guidance and much more.
• For employers with 50+ employees, formalized training programs are also provided either virtually or in-person.

Shopping Online?

• Contact Lenses: Get Network savings when purchasing online by using 1-800 Contacts.  More information can be found by clicking here. 

• Frames and Lenses: Orders can be placed online and shipped to your home for free!  Learn more about this Network savings benefit by logging in to your Avēsis Member Portal.

 If your provider is a Network Provider for your eye exam, but does not participate with Avesis, you may:

• Purchase your materials through that provider and receive the Non Network benefits of your Avesis vision plan.
• Take your prescription and go to a Network Provider who contracts with Avesis in your area to fill your materials order.
• Use your prescription online through your Avēsis Member Portal, and order eyeglasses and/or contact lenses online at Network benefit levels.

If you are enrolled in any SEHP medical plan and you use a Network Provider with either Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas or Aetna, your first eye visit, regardless of reason or diagnosis each year, is covered at 100%. The SEHP medical plans allow one eye visit per calendar year which means you do not have to wait 365 days between eye visits.
