 On March 2, 2012, an EF4 tornado, changed a corner of Southern Indiana forever. As the massive tornado destroyed homes, schools, and businesses, the Hoosier’s in its path took shelter together. But it didn’t end there, shortly after the first tornado hit, a second EF3 tornado followed a similar path. The tornados claimed the lives of fourteen people and injured many others. The damage spanned five counties in Southern Indiana ... As volunteers and donations began to pour in from across the country, the community began to rebuild together. ...

The Hardest Hit Fund is a free program administered through IFPN that provides financial assistance to homeowners who are at risk of losing their homes to foreclosure due to circumstances beyond their control.
