The Interfaith Enrichment Corps has an opportunity to assist the Keep Indiana Beautiful team with a large-scale tree planting project at Forest Manor Park on November 26th. It's a service opportunity, but also a self-care strategy! Did you know that even just being able to see trees through a window can lower blood pressure? Be a part of a positive cause that will have a positive affect on you, as well!

The FFA (Future Farmers of America) Host Committee for their annual convention coming up this month have been tasked with reaching out to some local organizations that like to know about engagement opportunities in the community for themselves or to share.
The Opportunity -
This October, more than 35,000 high achievers and future leaders will converge in downtown Indianapolis for the 94th National FFA Convention & Expo, an event that symbolizes the organization’s gold standards of excellence: premier leadership, personal growth, and career success. FFA members come together to share experiences, compete for awards and, most importantly, learn and lead through unique activities such as career success and leadership seminars, educational tours and interactive, motivational speeches.
The FFA is requesting your help recruiting volunteers to ensure a smooth and meaningful experience for the FFA attendees who will visit our city. Over 400 volunteer shifts are available and include positions such as general greeters, serving as hosts on tour trips in and around the city, and hotel and airport greeters.
