INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Civil Rights Commission (ICRC) announced the hiring of Dolly M. Serrant as the Director of the Commission on Hispanic and Latino Affairs (ICHLA). Serrant, a native of Puerto Rico, joins ICHLA with a deep passion for service to the community and demonstrated expertise in public relations and advertising.
“We are very pleased to welcome Dolly Serrant to the team,” said Gregory Wilson, ICRC Executive Director. “Dolly’s background and work experience will elevate the Commission in its overall mission and strategic direction moving forward.”
As the Director of ICHLA, Serrant is responsible for setting commission objectives, strategic direction and work standards that will affect the operation of the Commission. Serrant completed a bachelor’s degree in Commercial Advertising and two master’s degrees; one in communications, specializing in public relations, the other in business administration focused on International business and strategic leadership, completed at the University of Puerto Rico and the University of Navarra respectively.
