NIPSCO AGREEMENT REACHED
The OUCC, industrial customers, & Northern Indiana Public Service Co. (NIPSCO) have reached an agreement regarding the utility's 7-year electric infrastructure plan. The agreement is pending before the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC). It would provide customers with rate credits & require NIPSCO to seek a full rate review by the end of the year. Read more...

KEY WATER RATE CASES The OUCC recently filed testimony in the Apple Valley & Kingsbury rate cases. Also, Citizens Water is expected to file a new rate case in the near future.

A base rate case before the IURC has a 300-day life cycle, if the utility files testimony, exhibits & other items listed by law. If needed, the Commission can add 60 days to the timeline.
