Over half of American workers surveyed by the American Psychological Association in 2023 said their managers believed their work environment was healthier than it really was. In this month's IMC newsletter we focus on offering tangible support to improve that reality. By improving your ability to address the mental health needs of your employees' and working to keep them on track for successful performance, you can create a more supportive environment.

SuccessFactors Role Overview Builder
SuccessFactors was updated Friday, May 17. Following the update, you may notice there is a new “Role Overview Builder” section when creating a new Requisition, or job posting. This new section will improve your ability to attract the right talent to your position by giving you the chance to expand upon the individual position details of the role, building upon the existing, standardized Essential Functions section of a position’s Job Profile. We recommend adding a "Role Overview" to every job posting as it is your chance to provide specific details about a particular position and its individual role within the agency.
What to Include in the Role Overview:
- Briefly describe key projects, programs, or tasks the role is responsible for.
- Highlight the top 3 skills you seek in an ideal candidate.
- Include any position-specific details not captured in the job profile.
By investing some time in a compelling Role Overview, you'll give candidates a better idea of what differentiates this position from others and what it means to be the right fit for the team.
How can I support my employees in achieving their S.M.A.R.T. goals?
