Complete Required Health and Safety Modules
Effective Oct. 1, 2024, the Indiana Office of Early Childhood and Out-of-School Learning (OECOSL) will no longer be accepting alternative trainings to the Health and Safety Modules found in Indiana Learning Paths. All caregivers who work in programs that take CCDF are required to complete Health and Safety Modules 1-3 (and module 4 if serving school-age children) during orientation. This change does not affect caregivers who have been approved for alternative trainings in the past.
To access these courses:
- Log in to I-LEAD
- Navigate to Indiana Learning Paths
- Select "Courses"
- Select "Mandatory"
- Complete the required modules:
- Module 1 - Child Development
- Module 2 - Health
- Module 3 - Safety
- Module 4 - Child Development (School Age)
