System Update: Three-Year Consent Forms
The Office of Early Childhood and Out of School Learning's (OECOSL) three-year consent forms for background checks will go live on July 1. Indiana child care employees will now only have to complete a consent form every three years or when they update their fingerprints.
The fingerprint process will remain the same. FSSA only requires new fingerprints every three years. Caregivers whose consent forms will expire before their fingerprints need to submit a new consent form when the old one expires. Providers will then need to submit a consent form again when they get new fingerprints.
