• Waived CCDF Family Co-pays: Waived family co-pays will end April 30. Programs should resume payment collection the week of May 2. To ease this transition for families, we encourage providers to use their Stabilization Grants to help temporarily waive any overages charged to families. Use this toolkit to communicate the upcoming transition to families. 
• Onboarding Stipends & Waived Background Check Fees: Waived background check fees and onboarding stipends to help programs hire new staff will end April 30. 
• Build, Learn, Grow Scholarship Fund: These scholarships cover up to 80% of a family’s child care tuition if at least one adult in the household works in an essential business. Providers and families must sign up by March 31 to receive the scholarship through June 30.  

Additionally, Emergency Relief Grants have been extended through October 8. These grants automatically provide a 20% increase to CCDF/On My Way Pre-K reimbursements to help address programs’ increased COVID-related operating expenses. Programs must be CCDF eligible and serving children with active vouchers. Providers will receive their final payment on October 26. 

As we wind down these initiatives, we are looking ahead to the next round of Build, Learn, Grow investments. We would like to discuss these and gather your input at upcoming provider town hall meetings. These town hall meetings will include small groups, organized by provider type, to allow for meaningful discussion.
