Indiana State Museum Canal Walk

Join museum staff and community partners along the canal walk outside of the museum for a combination of family-friendly outdoor activities and themed, hands-on experiments. You'll meet different partners and explore new themes every week like Nature Play Day, Color on the Canal, Superhero Night and more!

Our early childhood specialists will be representing the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites at the Indy Pride Festival. Find us in the Community Zone for story times, hands-on art projects and temporary mastodon tattoos.
