On Monday, August 24, the Indiana Data Hub registered its one millionth pageview for the year.
We noted the increase in Hub traffic in our May newsletter and have only seen the numbers grow as MPH adds more datasets to the Hub.
"Our one millionth view on the Indiana Data Hub shows that citizens and decision-makers are interested in the numbers and how the data is helping to improve outcomes for Hoosiers," Indiana Chief Data Officer Josh Martin said. "With more than 150 datasets now posted on the Hub, this is one way MPH continues to bring #DataToThePeople."
Additionally, we’ve been visited by more than 70,000 new users in 2020 and our datasets have been downloaded 42,695 times year-to-date. The Hub currently hosts 152 datasets.
The Indiana Data Hub is your home for actionable data covering a variety of subject matter areas within Indiana State Government. This data is housed securely, de-identified, and published in a manner that promotes analysis, collaboration and innovation. Get started now at hub.mph.IN.gov

The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration announced Monday the launch of a new statewide, interactive map showing the prevalence of unmet social needs throughout the state, community by community.
The agency partnered with MPH for the design of this visualization titled the Hoosier Health and Well-Being Atlas. The project highlights two years of data volunteered by Hoosiers when they apply for state health coverage programs, food assistance or emergency cash assistance. With the data, communities can identify and prioritize emerging social needs and target services to proactively and strategically address those needs.
For more information on the Hoosier Health and Well-Being Atlas, please read the news release from Indiana FSSA.
