Indiana Geography and GIS updates

Our state is fortunate to have a strong, experienced community of geography and GIS practitioners.

Last week, our state’s professional membership organization, the IGIC (Indiana Geographic Information Council), held the annual Geospatial Coordinator’s Forum where there was a discussion of statewide goals while focusing in on local-level geospatial data issues.

There, the State GIO (Geographic Information Office) has announced Thursday, Nov. 15 as GIS Day. Sign up to attend workshops, network with others in the Indiana Geo-community, and talk to vendors. View the agenda and register here.
