Should you wish to complete the process by filing a paper application, you can still download it from our website. Click on ‘Licensing’ at the left of your screen to find the paper application. You may also call either racetrack license office to request an application be mailed to you.

Notice for Owners Attending Races
After receiving input from Indiana's horsemen, and holding additional meetings with racetrack
management, the following provisions are being provided to accommodate owner’s wishes to watch their horse race on race day. Beginning June 15, up to two owners per horse will be allowed on the racetrack backside, subject to the provisions of the reopening plan including (but not limited to) daily temperature checks, displayed license requirements, wearing the color-coded wristband, and mask usage. ISB Foal Registrations Due
If you registered a mare with us by August 1, 2019, please note that in order for her foal to be Indiana-Sired and -Bred, don't forget that the foal must be registered within 30 days of foaling to complete the process and avoid late fees. Check our updated list on the website...
Please note if you’ve bred to an Indiana registered sire but did not register your mare by August 1, 2019, your foal will automatically be Indiana Sired and no foal registration is required.
Mare Registration Deadline
While you're working on your ISB foal registrations, don't forget about your mares for the 2021 foaling season.
The deadline for registering mares in 2020 is August 1, 2020 (for foals of 2021). These can be completed and sent to the IHRC any time prior to the August 1 deadline!
