Standardbred owners and breeders are invited to a FREE Broodmare Health Seminar on Saturday, Sept. 9 at noon at Hoosier Park Racing & Casino. Learn how you can best prepare your broodmare for the 2018 breeding season and increase her chances of conception.

Registering Foals
In order for Foals of 2017 to remain Indiana-Sired & Indiana-Bred eligible, they
must be registered with the Commission within 30 days after foaling to avoid late
fees. Foals may be registered after the 30-day deadline until December 31st
of the weanling year, but you will pay a $200 late fee.

MARE DEADLINE: August 1
Keep sending those 2017 Mare Registrations (Foals of 2018) to the IHRC Office...the deadline for registering mares is August 1st, but you can easily register them now to avoid missing the deadline when you are really busy this summer! Don't Forget: Stallion Registrations are Annual
Indiana Stallions must be registered annually to be a
registered Indiana Sire. This must be done by October 1 annually, and is $150 per stallion.
After October 1, but
before any mares are bred, the fee increases to $400 (new
stallions never standing in Indiana are still $150).
