IHCDA COVID-19 update: A message from Jake

IHCDA’s mission, to provide housing opportunities, promote self-sufficiency, and strengthen communities, focuses on serving Hoosiers. During this time of uncertainty, we wanted to reaffirm our commitment to providing you with the highest quality of service.  We have taken steps to help protect the health and safety of our program participants, partners, employees, and the communities we serve. One such measure is having IHCDA employees work remotely; another is utilizing technology for conferences and meetings. Despite these changes, we are still conducting business as usual, and our delivery of customer service remains uncompromised.

We recognize the work you do each day in our communities, and we appreciate your continued support of Hoosiers in these challenging times. In order to remain healthy, we encourage you to closely follow the guidance issued by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH). By working together in these ways, we can help prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our communities.

We are also thankful to our dedicated employees, who have embraced the changes necessitated by the virus. They are to be commended for their ability to remain focused on the tasks at hand and tireless efforts to maintain exceptional customer service. We have incorporated flexibility into our procedures and made accommodations to help mitigate negative impacts from this crisis on the daily lives of our employees.

IHCDA will continue to assess this dynamic situation and make adjustments as necessary for the safety of everyone concerned.  Should you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact a member of the IHCDA team or contact me at jsipe@ihcda.in.gov or on my direct line at 317-233-1811.
