Workforce Housing Modular Housing RFQ
On Monday, April 29th, IHCDA released the RFQ for its Modular Workforce Housing Pilot Program. This program aims to address Indiana’s workforce housing shortage by incentivizing partnerships between not-for-profits, local units of government, and modular housing manufacturers and dealers. Up to two respondents will be selected to construct single family modular homes on existing lots that were cleared using Blight Elimination Program funds. These homes will be marketed to potential homebuyers making 140% AMI or less. Information on the program parameters may be found in the RFQ.
IHCDA will host an informational webinar to explain the RFQ from 10:00-11:00 EST on Monday, May 13, 2019. Click here to register.
Responses to the RFQ must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. EST on Monday, June 24, 2019. Questions on the Program may be directed to Chris Nevels, IHCDA HOME & CDBG Manager at cnevels@ihcda.in.gov.
